My name is Lauren Lawson, and I’m an independent artist born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i. I began painting at age eleven and later transferred to an art-focused high school, where I honed my craft. After graduating, I moved to Atlanta and studied at Savannah College of Art and Design.

My work is rooted in my personal experiences navigating dating, identity, and womanhood in my twenties. Through themes of hookup culture, vulnerability, and visibility, my pieces explore what it feels like to not always be truly seen for who you are. My art aims to empower women by reflecting the messy, confusing, and beautiful reality of growing up—because your teens and twenties aren’t easy to navigate, and that truth deserves to be shown.
